I know what it means to serve. From 2005 to 2012, I wore the uniform as an Army Infantry soldier — seven years of sacrifice, discipline, and unwavering commitment to something bigger than myself. I deployed as a combat veteran, and I came home carrying something most veterans carry: a deep sense of purpose and an unshakeable bond with the men and women who serve this country. When my military career ended, I didn't stop looking for ways to serve. I just found a new mission.
